CONSULTANCY & CO-DESIGN SESSIONS

CASE STUDY 2

Problem: A virtual reality start-up created a training module using VR technology, but potential clients and investors were hesitant to adopt the product as there was no scientific evidence to support its effectiveness in training employees.

What they wanted to achieve: The company’s goal was to validate the effectiveness of their VR training module to gain the trust and confidence of potential clients and investors.

How I helped them fix the problem: As a behavioral sciences consultant with expertise in emerging technologies, I designed a research study to test its effectiveness that was cost-effective and within the budget of the start-up. I employed a rigorous methodology to assess significant changes in employee knowledge and performance. I also provided recommendations for improving the training module based on behavioral principles to enhance learning and retention.

Results: The research study demonstrated that the VR training module was effective in improving employee knowledge and performance. The scientific validation of the training module gave the company credibility and helped them gain the trust and confidence of potential clients and investors.
